St Cross won the toss and batted. We made 134 for 4 off 20 overs. Lucas Weston and Joe Hasan got us off to a great start with Lucas scoring 25 n.o. retired, including 4 boundaries. Joseph scored 24 runs with other notable contributions from Alex Weston 19 n.o, Silas Kendall 17 n.o. and Harry de Hartog 14. St Cross then bowled out IBM Hursley for 107 in 18 overs. The wickets were shared between Oscar Sadler with 2 and Alex, Joseph, Siddharth Rokkade, Ayush Shah and Harry with one apiece. Lucas took two wicket keeper catches.

The result was a win for St Cross by 27 runs. A great performance from the whole team. Special mention should be made of Siddharth who bowled one over of pace and one of spin. It had been noted at training by the captain, Lucas, that Siddharth was a good spinner and it was with spin he took his wicket.

We now meet St Cross A's in the final. May the better team win!
