Well it was great to get started in the sunshine. The wait was really worth it, with a great team performance that enabled us to beat Twyford quite comfortably. Ultimately, it was our bowling performance that made the difference; we took ten wickets and only lost two ourselves. Special mention to Ayush Shah, Guy Punnett, Zac Graham Campbell and Joseph Hasan for some lovely accurate bowling.

Some great batting as well with Ayush and Guy getting us off to a good start. With everyone else contributing and scoring plenty of runs. Special mention to Arthur Robinson for some lovely boundaries.

Plenty for us to work on over the summer. Especially, with regards to our fielding. But a great start and the team represented St Cross really well. Looking forward to seeing you all this evening for our first training session.
