Best performance yet from St Cross GU11 to beat Twyford

Fielding first, St Cross restricted Twyford to just 217 runs thanks to a great team fielding effort and some bowling that was nearly unplayable at times. Wickets in the first two overs from Ella and Emma set the standard for the rest of the innings, with almost every bowler taking a wicket. Of note was some tight bowling from Camilla and Kitty - and Amelie taking three wickets in the penultimate over, unlucky not to get a fourth.

In bat, Atana and Bea accelerated the scoring with a partnership of 30 runs - with the whole team contributing to the 285 total - closed out by a classy four from Tilly off the last ball of the innings.
